About Us
Daniel R. McGehee was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama where he made Jesus Christ his Savior and Lord. After graduating high school, he served four years in the United States Air Force. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1994 and went on to college at the University of South Alabama where he graduated with both a bachelors and masters degree. In 2002, the Lord called Daniel to the ministry as an evangelists. At the end of the following school year, he resigned from his full time teaching position and began to follow the Lord in full time ministry.
In 2004, he was licensed to the ministry by Dr.Charles Brown at Government Street Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama. One year later, he was again licensed and ordained by Pastor Kevin Cooley at Harvest Church where he served as the Evangelism Pastor, Christian Education Director, Connection Group Pastor, and Director of Men’s Ministry through January 2007. He is now a full time evangelist and the founder of Fellowship Guide Service Ministries.
Daniel is an exciting motivational speaker who has a unique ability to reach people from all walks of life. With smiles, laughter, and his open heart, he has ministered at events for children, youth, adults, senior adults, and men. As an evangelist, he brings a refreshing message of encouragement to the body of Christ (Eph.4:11-12), hope to those in need of the Father’s saving grace (John 3:16-17), and power through the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire (Matt.3:11).
Daniel is a born again Spirit filled man who is deeply in love with his beautiful wife, Shellie. He is currently working toward the largest Christian hunting and fishing show in the south and ultimately the nation. He can be contacted through his website at www.guide4him.com.
Daniel does not charge for hunting or fishing guides through FGSM. All guides are scheduled on Mondays or Fridays (see booking to contact Daniel). He enjoys spending time in the swamps, lakes, rivers, and streams throughout the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta, South Alabama, and Mississippi.

About FGS
Daniel developed a love for the great outdoors as a young boy growing up in South Alabama. In 2001, the Lord began to use Daniel’s skills as a professional hunting and fishing guide to reach men, young and old alike. The following year, he founded Fellowship Guide Service Ministries (FGSM) with two main intentions:
- To teach, encourage, and guide men of all ages to follow the Lord Jesus Christ wholeheartedly. “If men will follow Christ wholeheartedly, so to will the family and the nation! And we will see change! We will see revival! ”
- To provide “getaway time” or “a day of relaxation” for those in the ministry.
“Thousands of men leave the ministry each year. FGSM tackles this by providing encouragement, prayer, a brotherly ear, or a day of relaxation to men in the ministry.” FGSM is a faith based 501-C3 non-profit organization.
